Hippo, a peculiar adolescent, and his Hungarian stepsister Buttercup struggle to come of age in late 1990s America, under the roof of a mother who has been institutionalized at least once… I just saw this at the Fantasia Film Festival in Montreal, and can I just say I’m in love with this movie.
It is truly an amazing wild ride of a movie that you will not regret watching
The amazing story, humor and breathtaking script keep you engaged, laughing and on the edge of your seat. The entire audience loved this movie at Fantasia, clapping, laughing and in shock/joy at the sold out house.
The acting of the entire cast is amazing
This film is truly a unique gem that I pray is seen by all. I have no doubt that this film will happen and Mark will have an amazing career if he chooses to continue to use and develop his creative voice, tone and style.
I admire how much I love him
It’s truly outstanding, one of the best movies I’ve seen in years. I really feel that many stars will be born from this movie.
