Narrative
Nate Busco spent 12 of his 17 years running away from the past
Tired of being moved from one foster family to another, he now lives in his car, eats corn leaves and uses jogging as an opportunity to shower.
In solitude, he is haunted by fragments of traumatic memories from his past
By evening, he was no different from the confident and bold personality of the school.
Meet Stan Dean, a popular high school theater teacher struggling with his own problems
He recognizes Nate’s hidden talent and his need for care and guidance where no other teacher sees it, and intends to help him.
But in an unexpected turn of events, Nate is arrested in the middle of the lesson and taken away in handcuffs
Stan follows Nate to the police station and not only posts bail, but agrees to take Nate home, much to the surprise of his fellow teachers.
Stan is willing to do anything to help his troubled student
However, the question arises: can you really help someone if he does not want to help himself?
