Touda is a sheikha, a traditional Moroccan singer. She performs in the bars of her provincial town under the gaze of men and plans to leave for the lights of Casablanca to find recognition and secure a better future for her son. Morocco’s official entry for the “Best International Feature Film” category at the 97th Academy Awards in 2025.
