Steve Martin actually plays the concert in various scenes
Narrative
Three strangers – who live in the same New York apartment building and are obsessed with true crime – suddenly become involved in a murder. He is actually a very skilled and talented musician. The viewer learned in the first episode that CHS lived above Oliver, who lived above Mabel, with that elevator scene.
A truly suitable floor within the series
BUT the opening has CHS in an apartment on the 7th floor, Oliver on the 8th, Mabel on the 9th – in reverse order and far below CHS. Starred in AniMat’s Crazy Cartoon Characters: The Rat of All My Dreams (2020). So I just finished Murder Only in the Building and I have to say I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
I was wrong
I originally had no intention of watching it because it looked like an over 60 show. After seeing the great reviews and all the award nominations for both seasons, I finally gave in and watched it. Funny who knows this kind of show.
The series has something for everyone
It’s about three strangers who all love true crime podcasts and suddenly find themselves making one out of a murder in their own building. The three of them (Selena Gomez, Steve Martin and Martin Short) begin to piece together the clues to find the killer. If you’re looking for a show to just have fun and entertain you, give this one a try.
It’s just a fun show to binge on in a few days
