In Javanese culture, Sengkolo is a negative entity that often haunts people, brings bad luck and brings disaster. On the first night in Suro, Sengkolo targeted several Wetons who were his prey. The original title was called “Sengkolo: Pemandi Mayat”… Just watch it in Malaysian cinema, quite a shock when I haven’t seen any review for this movie yet. I’m into crazy horror movies. For me: The acting is spot on. I feel a family connection between them. Some of the supporting cast could use a bit of polishing, but overall pretty good. Ghost is really scary and realistic. There are a lot of jump scenes, but that adds to the film. Yes2. A delightfully scary movie.+ a supporting actor in a movie theater where everyone screams when a certain scene happens. If Indonesian horror continues to improve, I’m pretty sure they’ll make it all over the world. My best wishes from Malaysia.
