Narrative
The series “Star Trek: Lower Decks” tells the story of the support team that serves on one of the least important ships of the Starfleet, the USS Cerritos, in the year 2380. Ensigns Mariner, Boimler, Rutherford and Tandy have to combine their duties and social life, while the ship is often shaken by various science fiction anomalies. The ship’s bridge crew includes Captain Carol Freeman, Commander Jack Ransom, Lieutenant Shax, and Dr. T’Anna. This is the second animated spin-off of the franchise after the 1973-1974 Star Trek animated series, but it has a much more mature tone and humor.
