When tech billionaire Slater King meets cocktail waitress Frida at his fundraising gala, he invites her to join him and his friends on a dream vacation on his private island. We caught up with director Zoë Kravitz and her ensemble cast on the Blink Twice red carpet.. Zoë Kravitz started writing Blink Twice under the original working title Pussy Island in 2017.
Frida: Something horrible is about to happen
Kravitz intended on keeping this title for the film but a negative reception from the MPAA, women, and theaters lead to her changing it.. Boa constrictors aren’t venomous so they couldn’t have made snake venom liquor from it.. Featured in Late Night with Seth Meyers: Channing Tatum/Sabrina Ionescu (2024).
So"Blink Twice" was very disappointing

The idea was interesting, and I was looking forward to it, having seen the trailer. But it was so slow – basically, nothing happened for the first hour.
Then, a bit of action, flashbacks and bloodshed
Just scene after scene of people getting drunk and stoned. Yeah, they’re having parties on a billionaire’s island, we get that. The whole point about a psychological thriller is to build the tension, but there was nothing but drink and drugs.
It could have been so much better
This was followed by a very rushed and incredibly unbelievable ending. The whole thing wrapped up in the last 20 minutes, just left me feeling "Is that it?".
